Rev. Dr. Dennis R. Edwards serves as Dean and Vice President of Church Relations at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, after having previously been Associate Professor of New Testament. An author and sought-after speaker at conferences and universities, Edwards has served as a church planter in Brooklyn and Washington, DC. He has worked in urban ministry for nearly three decades. Edwards holds degrees from Cornell University (BS, chemical engineering), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv, Urban Ministry), and Catholic University of America (MA & PhD, Biblical Studies), and is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. He and his wife, Susan Steele Edwards, are the parents of four adult children and five grandchildren.
